Refund Policy

This policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through ShelfBase (app.shelfbase.de). Payments are processed by our billing partner Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as the Merchant of Record.
Right of Withdrawal (EU)
As a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, in accordance with § 312g BGB and Article 9 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). By subscribing and immediately using the platform, you expressly agree that service delivery begins before the withdrawal period expires. You acknowledge that the right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed (§ 356 para. 5 BGB). If you have not yet used any premium features, you may still exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of the subscription start date.
Refund Within 14 Days
If you have not used or have only minimally used premium features after your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. To request a refund, email contact@shelfbase.de with: – your registered email address – the date of purchase – your order confirmation (if available) We will process your request within 5 business days.
Refund After 14 Days
After the 14-day period, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We reserve the right to grant pro-rata refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as extended service outages.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. Your access continues until the end of the paid term. For annual subscriptions, the same applies: cancelling during the paid term does not automatically result in a pro-rata refund for unused months.

All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as the Merchant of Record. Paddle is legally the seller of your subscription. For payment issues or chargebacks, please contact us first at contact@shelfbase.de.
